Piano Concerts
Music is my remedy
I started piano lessons when I was seven years old and hours would fly by as I worked to perfect every new piece my teacher would give me. After completing Grades 1-6 as a child, I then stopped having lessons but I never stopped playing.
For me, music is my remedy. When I’m playing, I’m completely absorbed in the piece I’m performing. It’s like diving into a huge lake and exploring every single note. In my early thirties, I decided to go back to lessons in order to complete my final two grades. Certainly a challenge, but I achieved my Grade 8 in 2019 passing with a merit.
I love playing pop songs, music from musicals and modern classical, especially Ludovico Einaudi and Yiruma. Clair de Lune and Pachelbel’s Canon are also my favourites.
I regularly perform concerts at the local care homes and I am availableto perform at village events and celebrations.
